We are a California State Licensed Pool Contractor

Tearing your hair out over your pool pump timer? You're not alone! If your two-speed timer has you wanting to throw it in the pool, it may be time for an upgrade.
We recently received a call from Tony, a frustrated pool owner in Walnut Creek, CA ready to give up on his clunky two-speed pump timer. Despite carefully timing and programming the cycles, it insisted on turning on in the middle of the night - the last thing you want when trying to sleep!
After years of tweaking and adjusting settings, he had enough. There had to be a better way to manage his pool pump without the headaches.
Of course, Tony's problem is all too common. Those old-school two-speed timers seem purpose-built to drive pool owners crazy. With their confusing array of buttons and programs, even pool pros struggle to dial them in correctly.
Like Tony, you've probably spent more weekends than you can count adjusting start and stop times. And even when you think everything is finally configured right, you discover the pump running at 2am or 4pm for no apparent reason.
Essentially, you're stuck in a timer tweaking time loop!
But before you completely lose your cool with the timer, know there is a modern solution - variable speed pool pumps.
Unlike clunky two-speed pumps, variable speed models have sophisticated digital controls built right into the pump itself. This allows you to precisely set customized runtimes and speeds to fit your pool's needs. No external timer required!
Even better, they connect to an app on your smartphone via Bluetooth. Just tap a few buttons on your phone anytime, anywhere to update schedules and settings. It's so simple, you can do it while sipping lemonade poolside!
With variable speed, you can finally kiss frustrating timer tweaks goodbye. No more spending weekends and evenings endlessly adjusting start and stop times. The ability to control it all from an app is a game changer.
Beyond the convenience, variable speed pumps are far superior to two-speed models when it comes to actually cleaning your pool. That's because two-speed pumps are forced to run on low speed most of the time to save energy. But low speed doesn't provide enough water flow and circulation to effectively filter out dirt and debris. You need it to blast on high speed for at least a couple hours a day to properly skim the surface and sanitize.
Variable speed pumps solve this by delivering full cleaning power even at low speeds. So you get crystal clear water without needing to run at high speed as often. Less run time equals more energy savings. It's a win-win!
Yes, upgrading to variable speed represents an investment. But it's one that can pay off quickly through significantly lower energy bills. Variable speed pumps cut electricity costs by hundreds of dollars per year compared to dated two-speed models.
If you're just about ready to toss your noisy, inefficient two-speed pump into the deep end, it's probably time for a variable speed upgrade. Take control of your pool with the latest technology and say goodbye to endless timer tweaking! And if you need any other pool equipment repairs or replacements, from filters to heaters, give us a call at 925-309-6135 ask for John.

Service: Installed a new Pentair variable speed pool pump. So, my pool pump was acting up and just stopped working out of nowhere! For a whole month, I had to manually prime that sucker every single day. My regular pool cleaning crew was trying to hook me up with a new one, but they couldn't find any in stock with the suppliers. Crazy!
I started searching online for a new pool service, reading all the reviews. This one company, "Walnut Creek Pool Cleaning Service" in Walnut Creek really caught my eye with their solid ratings. It was already 4 PM on a Friday when I hit them up, so I figured I'd be lucky if they got back to me by Monday.
But get this - only 20 minutes later, John himself messaged me back asking for details and pics of my equipment! I sent over what they needed, and John came through with a solid recommendation and estimate right after. I was totally blown away at how quickly they got things moving.
I asked if I paid the deposit right away then, when's the earliest he could install the new pump. John gave me a couple of date options, with the earliest being that upcoming Wednesday morning - just a few days away! You know I locked that in pronto.
Right on schedule, John rolled up bright and early on Wednesday, texting me they had arrived. John installed my new variable speed Pentair replacement in less than 1.5 hours. To top it off, John took his time walking me through all the premium Pentair features and setting up the timer with different speed options.
What more can I say? If you're looking for a legit pool company that brings the awesome service, you just struck gold my friends. John is where it's at!
